This page will contain information on elections.

TTG is a not affiliated with any political party.   For candidates who desire, they can submit information on themselves, their beliefs, and why they are running.  If you are such a candidate, please submit your information to info@thorntontaxpayers.com and we will post it in a section on candidate profiles.

Here is the election schedule for 2024.

• Presidential primary – January 23, 2024
• Town meeting – TBD
• School board meeting – TBD
• Town election – March 12, 2024
• State primary election – September 10, 2024
• General Election – November 5, 2024

Note that elections are somewhat confusing and there are two kinds.

1. Elections to elect candidates running for office.   These are held at the Town Election on March 12, 2024
2. Voting on budgets and town warrants.  There are two of these: for the town budget and for the school budget.  Both meetings happen in March and the dates are yet to be determined.
