Thornton Central School
The school is at 1886 Nh Rte 175, Thornton, NH 03285. Here it is on a MAP. The school has on average between 180 – 200 students in grades Kindergarten through eighth grade. The school’s website is HERE. The school staff is HERE. The school was built in the nid 1950s and has undergone several renovations and additions. Currently, according to the Superintendent and the Chair of the School Board, the school urgently needs a new heating system. In addition, according to a presentation made in March, 2023, the School Board considers the space to be inadequate for its needs. (This despite the student/teacher ratio being less than ten and the average class size of about eleven.)
